A small platform for scenarios you play through, where the cast is run by AI and the story holds together as you push on it.
Most interactive fiction is a branching tree someone wrote out in advance. Run Scenario takes a different angle: the world and its characters are given a situation and a set of facts, and they play it honestly in response to what you do. Question a suspect twice and the answers stay consistent, because the character is keeping its own story straight, not reading a script.
The Last Curtain Call is the first scenario built on it. A closed-room murder is a good first case: a fixed cast, a locked theatre, and a single truth to uncover make for a story that stays fair no matter where you start.
This is a game, not a courtroom. The characters are inventions, the evidence is written for the story, and the AI runs the company rather than predicting anything real. The aim is a mystery that feels alive to investigate, and that holds up when you test it.
It is a work in progress. Expect rough edges, and tell us when you find one.
